Global Metal Company manufactures a variety of products under Georgian Collection. Classic Georgian architectural hardware. The grandeur of the past continues to inspire people with richly embellished designs. Georgian hardware (roughly 1714-1830) is defined by architectural symmetry and classical restraint — proportion and craftsmanship over decoration for its own sake. Rim locks, oval and octagonal knobs, and finely cast back plates in solid brass characterize the period, built to complement the balanced, formal architecture of the era. We manufacture Georgian-style rim locks, door knobs and back plates in solid brass with polished and antique finishes, cast to the same proportions and detailing that defined the original period. This collection is a common specification for period-correct restorations of Georgian and Federal-era properties.
