Global Metal Company manufactures a variety of products under Edwardian Collection. Elegant Edwardian brass hardware. Dignified designs in brass and bronze, richly embellished with neo-classical ornament. The Edwardian period (roughly 1901-1910) softened the heavy ornament of the Victorian era into something lighter and more refined, borrowing classical and neo-classical motifs — swags, urns, and symmetrical floral detailing — rendered in brass and bronze. It's a transitional style: still decorative, but restrained compared to what came before it. Our Edwardian collection includes door knobs, back plates and cabinet hardware finished with neo-classical ornamentation in polished and antique brass. These pieces are frequently specified for early-1900s home restorations and for interiors aiming for refined, historically accurate detailing rather than heavy Victorian ornament.
